This Privacy Policy explains how Screen Bid (“Screen Bid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit screenbid.lol (the “Service”), browse screens, place bids on ad tiles, or list a screen you own. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Screen Bid is an early-stage product operating in a test environment. Some features described in our marketing materials may be experimental or subject to change.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information. When you sign up to list a screen, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email address and, if you use social login, basic profile details from that provider. We receive a unique user identifier and your email; we never receive your password.
• Listing information. If you list a screen, we collect the details you submit — screen name, venue, city, category, estimated viewers, a description of who sees it, and any photos you upload.
• Bid and advertiser information. When you bid on a tile, we collect the company name, website, and logo you provide for display, along with the details required to complete payment.
• Communications. If you contact us, we keep the contents of your message and our reply.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data. Pages viewed, actions taken, and approximate device and browser information.
• Screen liveness data. When a host runs the display player, it sends periodic “heartbeat” signals so we can show whether a screen is currently on. These signals are tied to the screen, not to any individual viewer.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We and our providers use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used.

How we use information

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Authenticate hosts, create and display listings, run auctions, and place winning logos on screens.
• Process payments and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Communicate with you about your account, bids, listings, and important changes.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Service providers

We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Stripe — payment processing. Card details are submitted directly to Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Supabase — database and file storage for listings, slots, bids, and uploaded images.
• Vercel — application hosting and delivery.

Each provider maintains its own privacy practices. We do not sell your personal information.

Public information

Listings and the logos, company names, and websites submitted with a winning bid are displayed publicly on the Service and on the physical screens themselves. Do not submit information you are not authorized to display publicly.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account information as described below.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at hello@screenbid.lol. You can also manage or delete your account through your account settings.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

International users

We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed there. By using the Service you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be communicated through the Service.
